Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Green Hill Farm Tuesday, March 13th We’ve enjoyed sunny days, blue skies, greening pastures, and daffodils over the last couple of weeks, and then…..it snowed four inches on Monday. But happily, most of it melted the next day. So, once again, we’re on our way to spring. Happy Thursday!
Paint & Sip Event February 2018 Some of you who follow this blog may recall that I assist Farmguy with creating and planning client events for his business. We host approximately four to six of these gatherings a year, and we always enjoy coming up with new and (hopefully) fun ideas. The inspiration for our “Paint and Sip” night came […]
DaVero Farms & Winery Healdsburg, California March 2018 Farmguy and I are in California this week. Our visit is a combination of wine field trip and birthday celebration. But, before we were able to have a glass of something sparkling to celebrate Farmguy’s special day, we met some very charming representatives of DaVero Farms & Winery. DaVero Farms & Winery is a biodynamic family farm producing small lots of exceptional Italian wine and olive oil in the Dry Creek Valley. Their motto is “Grow what belongs here. Be Patient.”

There aren’t enough words to convey the many attributes of this organization and the women who serve in it. As I think of my fellow sisters, I see their smiles, hear their laughter, and feel the joy and warmth they […]
Farmgirl and Clementine Kitty Mornings on Green Hill Farm This is how I greet every morning on Green Hill Farm…with sweet Clementine nuzzling my hand and encouraging wakefulness with her dainty kitty kisses. I love Clemmie Cat, and I’m grateful for such a lovely beginning to each day. This may seem like a little thing, but […]

The farm was opened in 1971 by Adam’s father, Joe to help protect some of our rare breeds of farm animal. As the home of rare breed conservation, visitors can meet over 50 flocks and herds of farm animals, including Gloucestershire Old Spot […]
