Green Hill Farm: Gratitude Is the Antidote

“The more light you allow within you, the brighter the world you live in will be.”

~Shakti Gawain

To be honest, some days here are difficult; however, I don’t have to look far to find a reason to feel grateful. Today was such a beautiful day–unseasonably warm and clear blue skies!  So, I decided to take a stroll around Green Hill Farm and soak up some sunshine.  Here are a few reasons I found for having a joyful heart.

  1. I’m sorry. Sometimes it’s harder to get an effective dose of gratitude, and I really hate times like that. Here’s hoping some good stuff comes your way soon ❤
I love them all, but especially dogs, rooster and holly 🙂

  2. Gorgeous photos of the farm and you know how much I enjoy these…:) Farming must be a tough life. Only someone who’s done it knows how difficult it can be and only those same people can understand the beauty and rewards of your life. I hope the positives always outweighs the difficulties for you.
I wonder…is this what you do when things become hard? Take a walk around the farm?

    • Thank you for your kind comment, George. I’m so glad you enjoyed the post. I was referring generally to challenges on the farm. Most of the time, we are fortunate that things go fairly well around here. And, I find that a good walk always sorts things out and helps me arrive at the right perspective. 🙂
