September

In my opinion, September is the loveliest time of the year. Typically filled with clear, temperate, blue-sky days, September’s gentle sun and warm breezes create the perfect opportunity for long walks, reading a book in the garden, or just tinkering about on the farm.

So, to celebrate this stunning month, here’s a little poetry and my all-time favorite song from the wonderful and uplifting artists, Earth, Wind, and Fire. Β Enjoy!!

“Do you remember the 21st night of September?

Love was changing the minds of pretenders

While chasing the clouds away

Our hearts were ringing

In the key that our souls were singing.

As we danced in the night,

Remember how the stars stole the night away.”

~September, Lyrics by Maurice White, Charles Stemney, and Verdine White
