Clouds
Last Friday afternoon was gorgeous. It was one of those sunny, blue sky days that’s just so uplifting. The sky was filled with the most beautiful clouds–enormous, puffy, cumulus clouds. They were really quite majestic. I got a little carried away and took tons of pictures.

Hey Tonya,
Do the clouds mean rain ? Just asking – because I am not a farm person.
The pictures are beautiful.

Hi Susie- Cumulus clouds are fair weather clouds. The cumulonimbus clouds (e.g., look like big, dark heads of cauliflower) are the ones that indicate thunderstorms or rain. Thank you for visiting and commenting! 🙂

This is so refreshing Tonya! Over here summer is in full swing almost touching 110 degrees. This green country takes me away to cool breeze and fragrant blooms 🙂

Thank you, Prajakta! I can’t imagine 110 degrees; I feel like melting just thinking about it. Many thanks for your lovely comment. 🙂

As a child I used to lie on my back and watch the clouds, which are very similar looking to what we have in Canada. Don’t do enough anymore, but I should.
Thank you for sharing this Tonya! 🙂

That sounds like a peaceful pastime that we all should do more. Your comment reminds me of how I used to try to see shapes in the clouds when I was a child–and still do. Thank you for your comments, Carl! 🙂

Your photo with the sheep reminds me of a poem I wrote years ago – may I borrow your photo? With due credit, of course.
