It celebrates cracks and scratches and all other marks that time, weather, and loving use leave behind. Some of the things that I love…
Well, it is snowing here on Green Hill Farm, and the weather forecast for Central Virginia is calling for up to 2 feet of snow by the end of the weekend. I am honored to have been nominated for this Champions Award by the lovely Judy. Judy is the author of the blog, Edwina’s Episodes. This is an eclectic blog with something for everyone: creative writing and poetry as well as lots of warmth and humor. Judy is such an authentic and caring person, always supporting others by showing an interest in their writing as well as their lives. I’ve known Judy for about a year and a half now, and I’m so happy to call her a friend. These awards are the original brainchild of Seumus Gallacher, a successful author and blogger, and are given out to those that “go the extra mile for others.” With that in mind, I am nominating seven bloggers who are always supporting others. There are so many of you that deserve this award, many of whom have been nominated already. This is due to my disappearance for long periods, during which time, I’m supposed to be taking care of farm chores. You see, we have a radio in the barn to keep the barn cats company. And, sometimes while […]

Besides being a busy farmgirl, I am also a speech and language pathologist. Every two years, my profession requires that I accumulate 30 hours of continuing education credit […]
