“What is success? I think it is a mixture of having a flair for the thing that you are doing; knowing that it is not enough, that you have got to have hard work and a certain sense of purpose.

~Margaret Thatcher

Have a great week!

*This post is not an invitation for a conversation on politics. These are simply a few inspirational quotes I wanted to share. Thank you.

      • She was controversial but I always wondered if she was strictly because of her politics or if her being a woman contributed to that thinking. That was a long time ago and we were, and are, still in the dark ages when it comes to equality with respect to women.

      • I agree, and I think you’re right about her gender contributing to the controversy. Thank you so much for visiting and commenting, George. I apologize for the delay in responding. It’s been a busy week! One of my new lambs split his ear open one evening this week while we were feeding grain. Still not sure how he managed it. He seems okay. We talked to the vet, and they said it would grow back eventually. But, I’m a bit concerned about frostbite. Never a dull moment around here. 🙂🐏

      • I think someone’s horn ripped out his ear tag during the hustle to eat as much grain as possible. Not sure about the frostbite…their ears are fairly vascular. The vet didn’t seemed concerned. I want to apply Vaseline (as it works for chickens’ combs), but Farmguy’s concerned it may bleed again. We’ll just keep an eye on it. 🐏
        Enjoy your evening.
