The Weekly Bleat
A number of years ago, Farmguy and I hosted a “shepherd day” for his clients and their families at Braeburn Farm. Braeburn Farm is a local farm, and the place where we learned about Scottish Blackface sheep. After participating in a shepherds’ weekend class nine years ago, we bought ten sheep of our own. And, because we so enjoyed our experience of spending time on this scenic farm, in the fresh air, interacting with the sheep, we thought Farmguy’s clients would enjoy it, too. Here are a few pictures of our fun spring day.

Oh my goodness they are so cute!!! I love little baby and mini animals 🙂 I’ve had a very hard time passing up a Pygmy goat one time…

We had a mobile farm visit school at the end of term, and there was a little newborn lamb there too… well he was 8 weeks old, but the smallest of the ones that were born then!

A mobile farm visit is a wonderful idea! I’m sure the children loved it! I bet that little lamb got lots of attention. 🙂

It was great! We had two calves, two sister goats, two lambs, a huge pig, two chickens, a chick to hold, and the farm dog, Teasle, who was gorgeous!
It’s a great experience for the kids, you’re right!!!
