Quote #3:

“What is life?  It is the flash of a firefly in the night.  It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime.  It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.”

~Last Words of Crowfoot

  1. Such a poignant quote, Tonya. A reflection on how quickly life passes? Beautiful. I had a rabbit munching on some clover in my yard early this morning. He looked at me and paused, the continued munching. I suspect he’s not afraid of me. 😀

  2. You know, I do believe you are THE ONLY blog I have ever seen that can use animal pix in every single post. I mean it’s actually amazing how much subject matter you capture just in the animal world!

    • Haha! That’s funny! I hadn’t thought about it, but you’re right. I do use a lot of animal pictures. I think it’s because I’m fortunate enough to live in a place where I’m surrounded by farm animals and wildlife. I have a great love and respect for all animals and enjoy capturing their personalities. 🙂

      • You do that very well! And just to be clear….that was not a complaint! I love your pix! I was just pointing out how original you are!

      • Thank you so much! No worries. I didn’t think it was a complaint. I thought it was a very nice comment. I really appreciate your kind feedback. I had to laugh, though, especially when I thought about my recent posts of yawning cats, rawhide-chomping dogs, and a “one-ear” sheep! I’m really happy that you enjoy the pictures. 😉
