Quote #3:
“What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.”
~Last Words of Crowfoot
Blackfoot Warrior and Orator, 1890

I think I’ll pass on the pitchfork. I enjoy those little visits. Bunny may be living under one of my boxwoods. 🙂

Such a poignant quote, Tonya. A reflection on how quickly life passes? Beautiful. I had a rabbit munching on some clover in my yard early this morning. He looked at me and paused, the continued munching. I suspect he’s not afraid of me. 😀

Thank you, Rob. Just a reminder that life is precious. 🙂
We have so many rabbits around here that I could rename Green Hill Farm–Rabbit Hill Farm! And, they don’t seem too afraid of us, either. 😉

I was folding laundry yesterday when I looked out of the kitchen window, and there he was, just as pretty as you please sitting under a leaf, sniffing a flower. I threw down whatever piece of clothing I was folding and ran to get my camera. Luckily, he hung around for a minute or two before scampering off under a plant. 🙂

Oh he just looks so cute! We get quite a lot of them milling about in the hospital grounds. Yesterday morning as I was in the car park, two little bunnies we straight in front of me running about, Very sweet 😉

He is the SWEETEST little thing! I love to watch them hopping about, too. I don’t really mind if they nibble on the flowers. 🙂

You know, I do believe you are THE ONLY blog I have ever seen that can use animal pix in every single post. I mean it’s actually amazing how much subject matter you capture just in the animal world!

Haha! That’s funny! I hadn’t thought about it, but you’re right. I do use a lot of animal pictures. I think it’s because I’m fortunate enough to live in a place where I’m surrounded by farm animals and wildlife. I have a great love and respect for all animals and enjoy capturing their personalities. 🙂

You do that very well! And just to be clear….that was not a complaint! I love your pix! I was just pointing out how original you are!

Thank you so much! No worries. I didn’t think it was a complaint. I thought it was a very nice comment. I really appreciate your kind feedback. I had to laugh, though, especially when I thought about my recent posts of yawning cats, rawhide-chomping dogs, and a “one-ear” sheep! I’m really happy that you enjoy the pictures. 😉
