Happy New Year!

Wishing you a healthy and happy 2017!!

 

One of our favorite places for New Year’s Eve is the Hogmanay Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.  I hope you enjoy this video, courtesy of Farmguy.  It’s the spectacular fireworks display from last year.  Enjoy!

  10. Happy Hogmanay to you and yours. My great grandfather was from Glasgow and he lived until I was in my mid-teens. I loved listening to him telling me stories of old Scotland. Many times he would sing some old songs while dancing around the living room playing his concertina.

    • What delightful memories of your great grandfather! Thank you for sharing them. I really love Edinburgh. Everyone is so friendly there. I haven’t visited Glasgow, but I know I would enjoy it. Scotland has so much natural beauty. It’s one of my favorite places. Happy Hogmanay to you and your family as well!
