The Weekly Bleat: Springtime on Green Hill Farm
Button & Ivy on the first day of spring
Green Hill Farm
March 2018
In honor of this snowy, first day of spring and the lovely landscape it created, I thought I would share a rustic, winter painting I completed earlier this year as well as some photos of Green Hill Farm.

I love your gorgeous photos with all that snow. We had snow all day with nothing to show for it. Most people in Western North Carolina were happy the snow never got any gumption.

Thank you for such a lovely comment, Anne. The snow was very pretty this morning, but most of it melted during the day. Stay warm!

Thank you, Biff. We really enjoy having sheep, especially the Scottish blackface breed. They’re so smart and have lots of personality!

Do the sheep look tired of the snow or am I just projecting? Lots of white stuff here too but at least we didn’t lose electric this time. Happy Spring to you.

I’m sure they’re tired of it, but probably, more tired of the huge temperature swings. Glad you kept your electricity! That’s a big deal. Happy Spring! Thanks for visiting. 🙂

Thanks so much, Joey. I hadn’t heard of the technique of bokeh, but I looked it up, and it’s an interesting approach. Thank you for sharing. Happy weekend! 🙂
