Friday Farm Favorites: Up, Up, Up…

Daffodils!

Green Hill Farm 2018

I love this time of year as winter starts thinking about transitioning to spring.  The days are warming up, the daffodils are coming up, the pastures are greening up…and my mood starts lifting up.  I know we’re not completely done with winter, yet.  But, I sure am grateful for this wonderfully warm weather.  And, since it was so beautiful yesterday, I decided to take a little stroll around Green Hill Farm to see how the sheep and chickens were enjoying the sunshine and blue skies as well. Here are some highlights.  🙂

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Those photos are always ones which cheer me up and want to go right into the photographs! Pet the animals and follow them around, gather eggs and cluck at the chickens! 😀 Thanks for your beautiful farm scenery and for being You, my dear! ❤

  3. On the other/under-side of the world, we are transitioning into winter now and in the way you can appreciate the spring, here I appreciate the coming winter. This past summer has been a lot hotter and more humid (without the relief of rain) for many many years. The relief that comes from cooler days (especially mornings and evenings) is wonderful. And the rain has started to fall again, refreshing everything with its bounty. The change of seasons at the equinoxes can be challenging but always welcomed!!

  4. Aw, yeah, a great day to be out and about on the farm. Beautiful skies! Thanks for sharing. I’d comment again on how pretty the speckled ‘roosters’ are, but I’ve done been told they’re hens and I finally remember 😉
My first bulb sighting (pips) came this weekend, I’m excited!
