Self-Empowerment

“A line is a dot that went for a walk.”

~Paul Klee

Swiss Artist

1879-1940

I first saw this quote on a magnet in the gift shop at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. last October.  I really liked the quote–enough to buy a magnet that I knew probably wouldn’t get any use.  But, I wanted to remember the words.  Anyway, the more I thought about the quote, the more inspired it seemed. It highlighted our ability to change, transition, and move forward…at anytime.  It underscored the fact that we are never stuck.  All we need is a change of heart and a little attitude.  So, bravo to a little dot that decided to be more, do more, and experience more.  After all, a line is just the beginning of the many possibilities of a well-drawn life….
