    • Thanks so much, Torrie. The sofa I’m lying on in the picture belonged to my great-grandmother. I found the sofa and a matching chair in my uncle’s basement when we were restoring our house. The furniture wasn’t in good condition as their dogs were sleeping on it and stuffing was hanging out of it, too. Anyway, I found some similar fabric and a nice man to reupholster it. It actually turned out well considering how I found it. I have to admit that at first Farmguy wasn’t too excited when I announced this furniture was going in the parlor. 😉
Yes, I believe Clementine has most things figured out around here. She is a pretty clever kitty. 🙂

  1. Haha! She’s sooo cute, that Clementine! Our pets tend to hang around the space heater when we turn it on. Just like sunspots or fevered humans, they always find the warmest places!

    • That’s so nice! Thank you. I agree about animals finding the warmest spots. After all, they like to be comfortable just like us. When I went to feed the sheep and barn cats yesterday, the sheep were laying on piles of hay on the ground. They had made “beds”from the bits of uneaten hay.

      • Oh how adorable your life on the farm must be! (And hard work!) But so much precious, too.
One of the cutest things my dog does is rearrange the bedding in her crate. Do you know what I’m talking about? I can barely stand the cuteness when she does it. Gah! So cute. lol

      • You’re right. Farm life can be challenging, but there are many beautiful aspects of it as well. I try not to be too focused on chores, but present enough to observe those meaningful moments during my daily routine.
I know what you mean…our dogs do that as well. They go around and around until they get it just right. They are adorable! 🙂

  2. It may be hard to go and check out my cat-sitting friend’scalico cats post. It was how Kira and Tayla were always getting into trouble as two barn kitties who are “sisters.” But I couldn’t help smiling when I saw your Clementine. 🙂
