“The Weekly Bleat: Montana”

A while ago, my husband and I spent a little time in Montana. And, I have to say that it’s one of the most peaceful and serene places I’ve visited in the United States.  As soon as I stepped out of the airport in Missoula, I knew this was the place for me:  big sky, lots of green, and so quiet.  My soul sighed……and then it smiled.

It was a wonderful few days spent in nature:  hiking, fly fishing, and trail riding; I even gave clay shooting a try.

Our time in Montana was well-spent, and I look forward to visiting again!

  1. Your photos make me want to go back! I lived in Montana (Hamilton, about 45 minutes from Missoula). It’s where I learned to fly fish and identify bear poop! Great people, and breathtaking scenery. So glad you enjoyed your time there.

    • Thanks! The scenery is certainly majestic, and the people were so friendly. Looking at these pics makes me want to go back, too! :). Identifying bear poop is probably a pretty good skill; I remember being warned to look out for bears, mountain lions, etc. while hiking. I loved the slow pace and peacefulness there. I’d love to visit again! 🙂
