“The Weekly Bleat: Images of Spring”

In April 2013, my husband and I traveled to the Netherlands and Belgium at Springtime.  While in the Netherlands, we visited Keukenhof Garden.  For those who may not be familiar, Keukenhof Garden is the world’s largest flower garden following Dubai Miracle Garden.  It is located in Lisse, the Netherlands–southwest of Amsterdam.  According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 79 acres (32 hectares).  The garden was established in 1949 in order to present a flower exhibit where growers from all over the Netherlands and Europe could show off their hybrids.

I’ve shared some of my favorite photographs from our visit.  I hope you enjoy!

It was such a pleasure to meet fellow blogger Tonya at the 2015 Celebrity Chefs Dinner at the Palisades Restaurant. She is the author of fourthgenerationfarmgirl.com. While I wait for my tulips to bloom I am enjoying Tonya’s photos in her “Images of Spring” post. I hope you will visit her blog. Enjoy!
