“The Weekly Bleat: Images of Spring”
In April 2013, my husband and I traveled to the Netherlands and Belgium at Springtime. While in the Netherlands, we visited Keukenhof Garden. For those who may not be familiar, Keukenhof Garden is the world’s largest flower garden following Dubai Miracle Garden. It is located in Lisse, the Netherlands–southwest of Amsterdam. According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 79 acres (32 hectares). The garden was established in 1949 in order to present a flower exhibit where growers from all over the Netherlands and Europe could show off their hybrids.

it was. too bad my camera was in the overhead and we were on approach. lessons learned for next time.

I dunno. I guess you’re right because I may not be savoring each moment; but there is an opposing view. You wouldn’t believe all the little details that I catch thru a camera lens simply by focusing on something unique that you may miss otherwise.

Beautiful! The first spring flowers always cheer me up so much after a wet gray winter. I’m really grateful that some special ones have popped up at our rental this year. So much color!

At first I was like wow your garden is amazing and then I kept reading I was like still this is beautiful.. Love all the beautiful colors and flowers it is totally breath taking

Those are beautiful. Apart from a lone crocus, none of our bulbs have flowered this spring, only leaves!
